A Letter from the Editor

Hello, I'm glad you've stopped by to find out more about CMB.

CMB began in 1992, after I went to Cornerstone Festival, and I realized that the US had many fine Christian Music publications and information sources, but my own country had none at that time.

I determined that I would not be just another Canadian complainer, but that I'd do something about it.

My original vision was to be a music information service, providing relevant information through whatever media were available, including telephone, print and electronic media. It became expedient and wise to promote one medium: a print publication which took the form of a newsletter. Later we expanded to a magazine, added our website and contine to add other media.

Since those days CMB has published 18 issues, including concert information, media guides, & resource directories. We've added a website, and are currently working on a national concert information hotline.

We're Interested - If you are a Canadian and consider yourself a Christian, who does something with music, we'll cover you, whether you're from Toronto, Vancouver, Boharm, or Sydney, Nova Scotia.

You are who we cover, whether you record with a 4-track in the basement, or the 64-track Digital Studio in Southslope BC.
